Not to be confused with the recently announced Smite Rivals, Smite Tactics is a deck-building game, which asks players to create decks of gods and creatures used to battle against a single opponent. At first blush, the cards from Tactics looks similar to other collectible card games like Magic: The Gathering or Hearthstone, with hit points and attack damage values presented with the traditional red and green circles on the bottom corners of the cards. Where it differs, is when cards are played they appear on a 3D and heavily stylized board, which is where battles take place...

Development continues on two of Square Enix’s most highly anticipated games, Kingdom Hearts III and the Final Fantasy VII remake. One or both may be shown off in some capacity this year, but the two “still have a way to go” before they’re released, according to director Tetsuya Nomura.
He discussed the state of both games in a recent interview with Famitsu (translated by Gematsu) in which he indicated we’ll still be waiting a while for them.
On the subject of Kingdom Hearts III, he said, “While I can’t make a sweeping statement because the development process is different from what we’ve done so far, there are still worlds untouched. Production is progressing on unannounced worlds, in a state that we cannot show them off...

There have been rumors for some time that a character named Doomfist is on the way to Overwatch. Fans have proposed Crews could fill this role, and Crews himself has repeatedly said he’d be up for it. He tweeted about the possibility again this week, leading to The Rock voicing his support in a tweet of his own.
“Co-sign,” he said. “Known TC for years and this man’s voice even has bad assery muscles. Fans would luv it. #Doomfist”
It’s unclear if The Rock even knows what Overwatch is, but his support certainly can’t hurt...

Looking for a new Xbox One controller? Microsoft is launching a red version of the controller later this month. This is the new version of the pad, featuring textured grips and increased wireless range. It also has Bluetooth support, and can be used with PC and tablets as well as the Xbox One.
This is not technically the first red Xbox One controller, as Microsoft offers a red Gears of War 4-themed controller. Additionally, you can get a red controller from the Xbox Design Lab.
The new standard red controller joins other standard colors such as white, blue, and black...
During a recent report regarding alleged Russian hacking of the US presidential election, CNN briefly showed footage from Fallout 4.
As noticed by Reddit user Poofylicious (via PC Gamer), the video–which can be seen here at around the 1:02 mark–shows an angled shot of a computer screen displaying random strings of text. The cliche-ridden shot is, in fact, a common sight in Bethesda’s Fallout games, as demonstrated in the graphic below from the Reddit post.
It’s an amusing oversight, but hardly the first time we’ve seen this happen with a news network. During a story on child soldiers, RT showed an image from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, a decision it later called “deliberate.” An Iranian network showed Medal of Honor footage in a report on a raid on ISIS, while Yahoo opted for a...
